Default Sovtek 6550's by the truck load

Sovtek 6550's by the truck load!!

Ok, well not really, but i have a whole lot of them! I recently purchase a small truckload of tubes at a local auction well over 200 tubes total. I have about 30 or 40 Sovtek 6550's that appear to be new or near new. I have tested them all on an Amplitrex Amplitrex Audio Products - Home Page Computerized Tube tester on the 6550-500v setting and all are at or over 100% Emissions and 100% GM. Some of these have boxes, other do not. but they are all the same tubes in very good condition and all the readings are very close to each other and within 10-12% from one end to the other making me think these are all new or near new. it is possible these are pulls from amps upgraded by the factory or a dealer.

The Audio Research company is local here so it is possible these came from there or came from someones personal stash that once worked there or are somehow related to ARC. other items in the auction had ARC stickers but then again these may totally not be related in anyway shape or form but it sure seems likely!

In any case. I got lots of 6550's!!! Looking for $20ea or best offer.

I also have a large lot of 6922's and 6H30Pi's that will be available soon. close to 50 of each or more.
