I bought the parts to build a "darling" 1626 and realized that I'll never get around to it. Want to buy a Darling kit? Make me an offer.
I wanted to build one that looked like Sal Brindisi's (Tube DIY Asylum - My 1626 Darling amp - Sal Brisindi - April 24, 2008 at 06:52:55). I used Tom McNally's schematic (http://www.wdox.com/pics/darling122405.jpg) to order the parts. Hammond 269EX Hammond 156R Edcor GXSE10-8-5K (x2) Hammond 12x10x2 black chassis (1441-29BK3) all the passive components RCA 1626 (x2) Sylvania 12SL7GT necessary switches, pot Specific parts list or a pic of what I've got spread out on the table on request. |
