I have a pair of black Quad ESL63s which are practically mint.
I bought them in 1989 from Hi-fi Experience in Tottenham Court Rd, London, but after hooking them up I realised the rest of my system was going to require an upgrade in order to do them any justice.....and sadly that never happened....They’ve been sitting, boxed in my living room ever since. Finally I've reluctanly admitted that I will never get around to the neccesary upgrade and it is time to offer them to someone else to enjoy...also I could do with the space in my cramped studio/ lounge. I reckon you'd be very hard pressed to find another pair of Quads in such flawless condition....hence the price of £1200 which I think is reasonable considering I've seen very well worn ones selling on ebay for £1500. But I'm willing to negotiate of course. |
