FS/FT: SEAS Excel W15CY001 - 2 pair

With my next three speaker projects laid out before me (center channel and two different surrounds), I am not going to be starting a project that uses the 4 SEAS Excel 15cm woofers I've got in my office for at least a year. It's better to let them go and be used than to have them continue taking up space in a dark closet.

4 x W15CY-001 SEAS Excel
Retail: $324.80/pair ($162.40/ea.)
Asking: $200/pair (I'll cover shipping CONUS if you buy both pairs)

These are in great shape. They've been soldered, mounted and broken in, but not abused in the least. They look fantastic cosmetically. Pictures available upon request.

I'm happy to ship internationally, as well.

Looking to trade? I am in the market for SEAS ER18NX woofers and small-format ScanSpeak tweeters. A matched pair of C79 Accuton midranges will perk my attention right up.

approx release date...?

Basically..., do they have the rubber boot or not

My pair are about 8 years old, don't have a rubber boot, but show the resonance peak at the higher 8.4khz. So maybe there were a couple of duff batches or something.

If Bear could provide a measurement that might help his sale.

They do not have the rubber boot. The build dates, based upon the serial numbers, look to be in 2005. I've had these for a while already, and do not have any current measurements.

Going off of memory, these had the higher peak, but if that is make-or-break for someone, then they should probably buy new.
