Since clearly you're a vendor, why are you posting here instead of in the Vendor section?
How can buyers be assured that this stuff isn't counterfeit?

If it helps any, I bought one from him and it sure looks like the real deal to me. Much better quality then the motorized ALPS unit it's replacing in a "mid-fi" Harmon Kardon receiver.

I tested the unit I received and only R1, R3 and R5 (as suggested I referred to spec sheet of 6-ganged unit RK16816MG) are measuring normally...anyone else having issues? Went through all 3 sets of pins of R2, R4 and R6 and they do not measure like the odd pins.
Also the NC (dummy) pins next to circled R3 pins have readings with respect to other pins.

Now to begin, when you measured (multimeter), the pins did you figure out which individual pins of the sets of three (i.e., ①②③ pins), are the High (should measure ~60k), Low (~40K and would basically be the ground wire), and Wiper pin? If you connect your multimeter's two probes one to the High and the other to Low = 100k (around + or - 5k of 100k is acceptable). Touch the High to the Wiper = around 60K and Low to wiper = around 40k. |

R2, R4 and R6 does not do the same...can't make sense of the values I get...not even ~100k from the high/low pins. As mentioned before pin outs are as referenced from the spec sheet of RK16816MG.

Blues,
How well do the different gangs match up? I had two 10k versions of this pot. The tracking between gangs was so horrible I never ended up using them.

R1, R3 and R5 match up within tolerance rating but R2, R4 and R6 are just not anywhere close.
I don't want to generalize on quality as I might be the only unlucky one...anyone else with similar issues? I'd like to return it uhcmos...if you're reading your thread. Or better yet test what you have.
