Exclamation FS: Western Electric STEREO 1/4" Headphone Jack + Switch

Western Electric STEREO 1/4" Headphone Jack + Switch

I have a couple sets of these. VG-EX condition, 3-contact TRS type (right, left, ground / tip, ring, sleeve), 1/4" headphone jack and 4PDT (4-pole, double throw) switch. Use can use these for any audio project such as a headphone amp with switching between (2) different sources such as iPod & CD player. Extremely heavy duty construction from brass & steel as shown. Each will mount in a 1/2" hole in panels up to 5/8" thick with mounting bolt. The switch operates by turning 90-degrees, one direction or the other. One direction opens one set of contacts while closing the other and the reverse in the other direction. The switch knob is black bakelite and the action is very positive The jack is conventional with the ground (sleeve) and separate tip & ring contact bars. The headphone jack is marked 239A and the switch 552A. Both came from pre-WW2 Western Electric communcations gear so solder terminals will need some clean-up.

$16 for set, includes US48 USPS shipping

Those sure are sturdy looking. I want them, but I don't need them....
