The transformer is wired (single primary) for 230V/50Hz at the rated output of (18V, 300VA), but it would output 9V, 300+VA at 115V/60Hz.

I was interested in this until you mentioned the single primary at 230v. Why
would you have that thing in the US? Did you buy it from the Plitron surplus
listings and didn't notice the primary voltage?
