Default UK: 2 Amp enclosures. +/- Trafos, chipamps, filter4s

Finally I must admit that my 2way bi-amped, active filtered speaker project will not be completed

I have the following for sale. Would quite like to sell most of it together for a similar project, but after a while I will split. The enclosures are quite large for just a chipamp as I left plenty of space for the filter and its supply.

The enclosures are a thick stainless steel shell, with 10mm aluminum side panels as heatsinks. The wood glued to the shell is for screwing pcb into, it also removes any tin box feel when you tap the case. Inside dimensions are 320wide 290deep 70high. On the second unit I have rounded the corners of the heatsinks, and will do the same for the pictured one (if you want). I can rub the heatsinks to a nicer finish if you want, or you might have other ideas (eg anosided?). There is no underside supplied. The 4 holes were a mistake and are in 1 amp only (they don't show). I'd like gbp40 each which is about what the bits cost me.

Trafos for the above. 300Va 2x25V.

Chipamp.com kits:
2x 3875 stereo kit (ie 4 channels). One is built and tested, one untouched.
2x 3886 stereo kit. One built and tested, one untouched.

2x Active Filter Four pcb from this group buy. Plus 10x OPA2134.
Active filter board GB

pictures to follow hopefully

Hi, can you tell me a little more about the active filter boards?

I tried the wiki link in the thread you linked but it appears to not work.

Is the XO adjustable or fixed, and what order filters are used. Also, do they work directly from the +-25v toroids or do the voltages need to be regulated down to +-15v for example?

Hi,

I would definitely be interested in the boxes and active cross-over bits not so much the gainclones/trafos; however if you are not initially interested in splitting could you please pm me with a total cost (incl p&p).

Alan

Mike,
Are you interested in the enclosures?
If you pm your email to BobEllis I'm sure he'll send you the latest version of the filter four manual.

Alan,
I will sell the enclosures alone or with the filter stuff. I just didn't want to sell the electronics before the enclosures.

I'm after cost price for filter boards and opamps which works out to gbp25

Postage is probably gbp10, or I might be able to deliver. What town do you live in?

I will take the boxes and all filter stuff - I make it £105 plus £10 p&p - I normally use ParcelForce48 - if this is more expensive then obviously I would make up the difference.

I live in Farnham - but at the moment, given the weather conditions, I would rule out anyone travelling from Bristol to this area - getting through the Reading / Basingstoke area is difficult.

If agreeable then how do I pay you?

Alan
