FS: Jordan JXR6 HD pair - $160 shipped
These drivers are essentially new, in original boxes. Been installed in my speakers for a couple weeks, ran radio through them for a few days to break them in. Didn't like the sound - I assumed they were the last word in the hi-end mid drivers. Well, they aren't... Pretty impressive bass for the size though. One driver is in pristine condition, except for the cut/soldered wires. The other one has a smallest nick on the dust cap - I brushed it with my hand very slightly! My nail left the nick, apparently they are made from very thin aluminum... Check the pic:

Honestly, I'd rather ship within the states.
Sorry about that. Of course we could probably figure how much it'd be to ship them overseas, let's see if they fail to generate any interest in CONUS. Don't you have some Jordans already? |

I have some pre JXR6 HD, just curious how the current ones perform. It's become sort of a collection hobby. But why don't you like them? The only problem I had with the early development versions is that excessive bass excursion would cause the mid frequencies to distort significantly. Otherwise, they were pretty accurate and revealing.

I guess I just expected too much. Also it might be that I don't like aluminum drivers. I already got some Accutons and Scan-Speaks, should be even more accurate and revealing..

I know what you mean. It's not a problem to me any more. I tweek metal drivers. for that reason. You can find a JX92S example in the original EnABL thread. That's the least improvement.

Well, I couldn't be bothered EnABLing the Jordans I guess. If I wanted fullrange, then maybe, but I was trying to use it as a mid in a 3-way setup...

It's takes lots of time to figure out what's wrong. I'm sure it's not the drivers. most possibly some design problem in the crossover. I aqlways make sure the final XO impedance is as flat as I can get it, which in pos cases +/-1 Ohm throuhout the audio range.
