Default 12AT7WA's for $5! RCA and Sylvania Black Plates!

I have a surplus of 12AT7WA's. These were all pulls from 50's-60's military equipment. I've tested them all in a little B&K 606 for gas, shorts and emissions. I then ran them through my El Cheapo to listen and measure the cathode current draw. They all seem to work fine. I think they've got a great deal of life left in 'em.

The most unique are 3 RCA triple mica's with wing shaped plates and square getters (I think, I can only see the getter on one). I have two with white labels (what's left of 'em) and I think date codes from '53. One is particularly strong, with tight cathode current balance. I'd like $10 for it, and $10 for the '59 red label in similar condition. The other '53 might not be as long lived, so $5.

I also have a Sylvania with a gold label (not Gold Brand), with wing shaped gray plates and a square getter. $8

The other 6 are Sylvanias with green labels, black shiny plates and round getters. Mostly 66-68 from what I can see. $5 each! I think these all have tons of life in 'em. I'm listening to a pair right now (I saved a couple of pairs for myself, but I can't wear them all out), and they sound great!

If you find 'em to be less than described, I'll refund your $$. I just want to see them find their way into happy amps; I'm no collector or tube seller. I went looking for a couple of tubes for my personal use and found a stash worth sharing. If you have any questions, just ask. Paypal preferred. Buyer pays shipping (USPS).

Can I claim the last pair of the Sylvania's, pending a shipping estimate to M4B1P1 in Toronto (Canada)?

Thanks!

The first four are sold.

fragger, USPS first class would be a whopping $3, but the time estimate says "varies" (I haven't a clue what that means). Priority would cost $11 and take 6-10 days.

Let me know. I'm on the road tomorrow, so I'd sure like to pack them tonight if possible.

All of the Sylvania green labels are sold! All of the remaining tubes are just begging to be plugged into SimpleSE's or RH84's!

I hate to say it, but I've decided to keep the nicer '53 RCA for now. So, that leaves three singles!

Hi,

I'm tempted to get the last three (Sylvania Gold Label, Good RCA, Last RCA I Believe), but how much for the three to Australia?

Nic.

I think first class mail (time estimate is "varies") would be about $10 USD depending upon how nuts I go packing them. I'm at the in-laws (brought the tubes, need something to do), so I don't have all my usual packaging. Priority mail (6-10 days) is quite a bit more expensive, so I assume that isn't an option.

Hi Paul,

Do you have any more of the RCA triple mica black wing plates?

Thanks,
Greg
