John, Great to hear they arrived well and check out to the spec.
These are fine drivers David.
They are all fairly well broken in now and are measuring within 10% of each other. The drop in Qms with the loosening of the suspension is welcome, making for a smaller box design.
Now, what can I do with 4 of these beauties?
Drivers received yesterday without any damage from the gorillas.

Basing my sims on the raw numbers from post #1, I thought I would go with an isobaric alignment, to reduce the box size to a realistic figure. Now that I have better numbers to work with, I have more options to explore.
One idea that is ticking around inside my addled head is using 2 drivers, both in sealed compartments with the lower unit EQed with a Linkwitz transform - a kind of a 3.5 system...possibly. I'll need to do more scheming.
I'm keen on using 2 per box though - I want a pair of hulking big monsters like the Wilson Audio X2 in Ferrari yellow...

I also have some extra samples of similar types, but I haven't gone through them yet. One pair of the samples are wet look with a foam surround and are 4 Ohm with the same aluminum basket and are also Eminence, but I don't have a picture yet.
