For sale is a pair of PHL ESg-2 speakers designed by e-speaker . ESg-2 is same as Aurum Cantus G2 ribbon. Woofers are Phl 1340.
Speakers are about 3 years old. Sound pretty much like commercial $2000 offering. The speakers sound fast, airy, detailed little forward. The ribbon is well extended and smooth. if you like lush, warm a kinda lay back sounding speakers this is not for you. These speakers are build by a cabinet maker. They have very nice bamboo wood veneer and looks very good. I’ll rate it 8 to be safe as it's diy. A pair Aurum cantus G2 tweeters are selling for $356. Quick note: the binding post is little off so the dual banana plug won't fit but everything else are fine. Email me with question. I also have plan/schematics from E-speaker for these.
