About $300 of wood went into making this monster. With the Thilo Stompler 15 (> 70mm x-max) installed, cone excursion minimums of 6.9 and ~18 hz were measured.
You are asking yourself...why??. Ok, the club owner is rather eccentric. This thing was built, tested and evaluated to see if it would be usable to 8hz, as the owner uses a MIDI controller to play "music" down that low, to hit the Schumann resonance frequency (7.83hz). He has decided that he prefers the body kinetic dance floor concept.See Sera Phi: Sera Lounge - New Paradigm Venue The floor has multiple ButtKicker and Ibeam vibro-tactile devices, with about 10 Kw driving it. The attached pic shows the internal construction, including "Tijuana I-Beams" (2x4s and plywood) for internal bracing. 4' x 8', around 22" thick.Total pipe length ~ 41' Please come, take this thing away.Please.He will entertain ANY offer(like.....FREE), as it takes up a lot of room. Bring a truck, and at least two beefy guys...~ 300 lbs. Woofer not included (it has gone into a tapped horn which we will detonate soon) Who knows, you could attach this to the outside walls of your house, punch a hole to vent into your listening space. It was surreal to watch curtains upstairs at the other end of the building moving at 8hz. Call Ananda @ 415 794 2174 to schedule a look-see |

If it was on this side of the country, I'd be over there
![]() Would fit nicely in the E-150, might be fun to get it on an SPL meter
