I paid over $1,000 USD for these. I was going to build a preamp using 5687 tubes and never was able to voice it so I went to another tube. I never cut the wires on these so at most they are 1/8" shorter where I stripped and soldered.
These are the Audio Note England Trans-011 HiB double C-core. These are special 4:1 ration rather than the higher ones. Matter of opinion but I wanted the 4:1 as I think they sound better. They can be wired for balanced or single ended. These have around 400 hours on them. $500 plus shipping. I think I can get them into a USPS large flat rate box so shipping shouldn't be more than $10-12 within the U.S. Paypal please add 3.5% to cover fees. I'll post a pick later |
