Hi,
I've just started my modified version of the kit It uses a TDA1541S1 and BurrBrown OPA627 The floating wire from the SAA7220 to the DAC are a temporary NOS conversion, I'm preparing a OS/NOS option switch The sound is perfect, deep and really punchy There's only a little 'mains hum' you can hear by pushing the power amp to its maximum, I guess this is inducted from the proximity of the opamps and the PSU I'll try a mod |
