Needed: Toroid To Complete Aleph 30

Anyone have an 18V + 18V at 400 kva toroid laying around or one they would part with please let me know... I have an Aleph 30 project that needs finishing up.

400000 VA...mind if I ask what your going to plug that into ?

I assume you mean 400 VA

Well, that would be one heck of an Aleph wouldn't it... tied directly into Utaw power... The older I get the worse my typing gets.....

he's got that huge OEM for $45, or buy five of the Chia's for 400VA...that's $50

I may have already found a 500 watter. Just waiting to hear back from the guy that has it. That OEM looks like it would make a nice amp though.... Donno why but I always forget about APEX Jr.....

hi Mark,
I still have a box of Hammond #182G18 which have 2 secondarys at
18v 6.25a if you used two cores with the secondaries in parellel they might work.
