I accidentally bought the GR version and need the BL. I only need a few and I'm going broke paying all the minimum buys and shipping costs

Any kind souls out there that could spare 4 parts for a reasonable price?

My F5 build is waiting for this one part. I could also trade some of the GR
versions if that helps.

Thanks.

Sure, if your still looking. I've got more than I'll ever use. Assume you'd want a matched quad, I've got several quads matched up using my new(to me) curve tracer. Not interested in -GR's, but will price as 'favor'; not really selling these my stash is more 'extinction prevention'.

Default Thanks for the offer.

I went ahead and bought some already, but thanks for the offer. If I blow
them all up I may look you up again.

You can make an F5 work with GR values -- I built one with a P-channel device with Idss in the 3's and an N-channel device n the 11's.

Hey Jackinnj. I made the same mistake after blowing up the first set you sold me...bought the GR as replacements for the BLs. Can only turn up the voltage to ~2.1 while adjusting the pots..... What should I do to make the GRs work?

It worked over a very restricted portion of the potentiometer's travel.

I'll solder up a single-ended version this afternoon -- the value of the 2.2K resistor will have to be changed -- NP referred to this in the original article.

I had thought that LinearSys would have had their P-Channel JFET out by now.

Which article was that? Or are you referring to the F5's owner/service manual?

Also, in this case, R1 and R2 had been changed from 10 ohms to 22 ohms.

Been waiting on that for what, three of four years now?
