Actually downgrading. I never really needed it for the recording aspect, just the DAC, preamp and headphone output...I'm going back to the Creative Audigy 2NX external that I got for free a couple years ago.

Long term, I'll probably get a Benchmark (or one of those Twisted Pear ones...looks interesting), but that's several months off at least.
