Default FS: working Rega Planar 2 fixer-upper

Asking $150 + shipping, open to offers.

I'm getting a friend's old Rega Planar 2 up and running again, and it works as-is, but it'd also be a good platform for DIY work.

It's the original Planar 2, with wood edging around the plinth and the S-shaped R200 tonearm (a rebadged Acos, see http://www.vinylengine.com/a-guide-rega-tonearms.shtml). It also has the (probably original) ADC QLM Mk III cartridge and stylus.

What's good:
+ Runs at correct speed,
+ In generally good shape, looks nice
+ Dustcover in good shape
+ New carbon fiber/felt turntable mat
+ ADC cartridge works, it all sounds nice, no hum
+ Queueing works

What's bad:
- Anti-skate is _not_ adjustable. This happens to all of these arms over time; there is a small toothed belt used to adjust the anti-skate, and the belts dry out and break into little brittle pieces. That said, the anti-skate seems to be at a good setting, around 1.5g.
- Original motor and motor suspension (working fine right now, but might go any time -- no warranty)
- Original belt (I tried replacing with a belt from Vintage Electronics, but it's slightly too big and slips), but still runs at speed.

What you can do with it:

For $150, get a working turntable with good bones. As you feel motivated, put in a newer cartridge, try out some of the DIY anti-skate fixes for the arm (see http://www.audioorigami.co.uk/ArmWor...R200Rewire.htm and http://www.thecrossovernetwork.co.uk...read.php?t=430), or keep your eyes open for a deal on an RB250 or RB300.

Email for pics (let me know what you want pictures of).
