WTB: Kapton or Mylar tape
I have a toroid that had the mylar tape start to lose it's adhesive in my hot garage here in Texas. Does anyone have a spare roll they can sell? The tape is cheap but sites want $20 for shipping. For tape??? C'mon!!!

You can get kapton tape extremely cheap with FREE shipping from........

I have some 3" wide Kapton tape
They are new rolls of 3M brand, but I can not recall the total footage on these rolls. Where did you find it online? I will match their price and only charge you $10.00 for shipping thru USPS :-)

Hi Michael,
3" is too wide. The original was about 1/2" wide tape. You're just up the road from me, darn it. theAnonymous1, thanks for the link. I'm in no rush, which is cool if they backorder, and I'm tied down with another project right now so there is no rush. |

I appreciate the gesture...just that the transformer is not really that big. There is nothing I like more than to swap with someone who just has something sitting on the shelf that they don't need. Have a great 3 day weekend! |
