I have for sale (2) Seas excel W18NX001 MID/BASS & (2) T29CF001 TWEETERS.
I had these for sale before and had second thoughts, now need to sell due to financial reasons. All 4 drivers are in excellent shape and were used in a 2 way monitor set-up. Never over driven and only for about 200 hrs. Also have 2 quality x-overs built for these, they are the original CNO's from Troels G. site.Using only high quality Jantzen Superior Z-caps,coils and Mundorf resistors.I would not suggest anything less than superior Z caps for these drivers to obtain there true quality. Sell all 4 for $450.If you want the crossovers add $150. Last edited by wavejunkie; 23rd August 2009 at 08:36 PM. Reason: added items |

Point of crossover is 2500Hz,fairly flat tuning, series crossover with a sensitivity of about 87dbl.The original CNO was tuned for 40Hz.
I have not tried the new MkII version Troels has done,I found the original to need no improvements.I used the crossover in a monitor set-up of around 17 liters (15 1/2" H x 9" W x 12" D) and sounds amazing, deeper bass with the same smooth midrange. I used a port size of 1-7/8" diam./4" long. Pics of of my floorstanders in the rough, and the original x-over. HERE. Last edited by wavejunkie; 26th August 2009 at 01:38 AM. |
