The bad, there is some damage on the one cone as shown. It is not major but you can see it. If you are going to run them without grilles it may bug you. It does not appear to affect how they perform however. I cannot hear any difference between them.
They sound nice with excellent midrange and clean highs. The bass however is the best part. Although they do not go down real low they do have a surprising amount of impact. I had them in sealed boxes and I doubt is was anywhere close to optimal. I am asking what I paid for them, $75 + shipping and insurance.
