Default F/S (2) JBL LE-10A Speakers (8 ohm)

Vintage cast frame JBL 10-inch Linear Efficiency speakers ready to install. I bought these correctly re-edged in 2006 for a speaker project; a project that I'm apparently not going to get to. Let's get them in your hands so they can be used as they were intended.

Both are well within DC resistance specs (4.4 ohm minimum to 5.0 ohm maximum); the foam edges are soft and pliable; the original frames, cones and spiders are in great shape; and they include their white sealing gaskets.

The following pics are of the actual units for sale. I know how to pack, but if you have any special instructions, I will listen. PM me with any questions or if you need other/larger pics.

Price = $125 (for both) + shipping (insured + signature required)

Pay via US Post Office Money Order or Paypal.

It's hard to tell- are those dustcaps inverted (concave)? Factory is inverted.

They're great drivers from what I can tell, but simply un-needed at this time. If they were $100 shipped I'd probably take them....

Default Yes- The Dustcaps Are Inverted

Badman:

Yes, the dustcaps are inverted as specified by JBL, and the foam surrounds are also attached on the rear of the frame as originally specified by JBL.

Rear of the frame or rear of the cone? I assume you mean rear of the cone.

These are very nice drivers folks. Zilchlab @ audiokarma has done some measures, though mostly limited to impedance and FR.

Yes -- that would be rear of the cone. Thanks for pointing that out; sorry for the confusion. For you spec-heads, see attached chart.

Default Bump for great drivers

The classic JBLs are excellent drivers, from the abnormally thick cadmium plate on the steel to the other unusual/expensive/desirable construction details (and quality), drivers don't get much sweeter than a classic JBL.

Someone snatch these up!
