I built this preamp to adjust volume for a pair of monoblock amplifiers with minimal gain, low output impedance, and great sound. It uses the relatively unknown 6S19P tube, which has a mu of about 3. The gain in this circuit is around 2.5, and output impedance is a bit under 400 ohms.

I used monstrous 4.7uF Solen output coupling caps and of course a 100K Alps Blue Velvet volume control.

One input, one output, tidy design. Aluminum plates isolate the power supply from the signal circuits, and the signal circuits from the input.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for looking.

I'm asking $250 o.b.o.
