Default Free Loudspeakers

Hello out there. I am an "aging" audio enthusiast, who has happened to build a lot of loudspeakers in my day. Unfortuna6tely, I don't have much time for those pursuits these days, but I do have a lot of raw speaker drivers that I may be willing to donate to another loudspeaker enthusiast. I have everything from 15" woofers to 1" tweeters and everthing in between. I live in the northern suburbs of Detroit, so if anyone is interested in a bunch of free speakers, and wouldn't mind stopping by to pcik them up, please send me a note! Best regards,
Tom

Hi Tom, that is a very generous and kind offer, and I am willing to bet that those drivers include some real gems.
Unfortunately I live on the other side of the world and can't drop in for a cup of tea and a chat that easily.

Whats aging? I firmly believe in the Groucho Marx school of thought here.

Good luck
Ted

Why do persons as altruistic as Tom never live near me?

That's a very generous offer. Not sure I could so easily part with my loved ones. Uh, speakers that is...

Wow! Ted is right Tom, I could sure use some decent 15" drivers for a 2.5CF sealed box or some decent 1"or larger size tweeters. Problem is I'm in Charlotte NC. and Detroit is more in gas many away than I currently have. If you were so inclined, I'd be more than happy to send you the money in advance for shipping!

An early middle age audio enthusiast.

I picked up the drivers, there was definitely an interesting assortment. Some of the drivers were blown, some will require a refoam, some look like quality drivers, some look like pulls from mid 80s technics department store rack systems. Tom was a very friendly guy and obviously generous.
