Default Legendary microphone for sale

Legendary Electro Voice 664 Dynamic Cardioid Microphone!

It was a legendary 1960'th microphone used for vocals, guitars, drums, an universal one like modern Shure SM-58 is used today. S/N 125662
Pressure-cast Zinc body made to damp acoustical resonances and to avoid sound coloration caused by diffractions.
The microphone is optimized for environments with high sound pressures, ambient noises, reverberations: it's cardioid directionality pattern cancel feedback and other noises coming from rear side of the microphone.
It has a high quality matching transformer inside. Using different pins on the socket you may select either 150 Ohm symmetrical output for modern or vintage recording consoles, or high-Z output to use it with a tube amp.

This mike is the perfect tool to get "that" vintage sound you have in mind! Also, it adds a vintage charm to your stage or studio.

It is coming with a socket and a cable, but I suggest you to replace the cable since it is very old.
For an additional fee I can solder for you one with XLR balanced low-Z output, or for high-Z 1/4" TS output.

Despite of working condition, I am selling it as is, no return, no warranty. But I am pretty sure it will come safe: a first, I'll pack it well, and second, such microphones were used by drummers as hammers to fix kick drums, then put back on stage for vocals!
