A pair of PHL 2460 8" mid-bass drivers for sale.
http://www.phlaudio.com/parameters/b20_2460.html http://www.phlaudio.com/datasheets/20_pdf/2460.pdf These have had light use, and look very nice. Awesome sounding, very high output lower midrange in a four way system. Or can be used as a high output mid-bass in a two way with an additional sub. Useable frequency range from 100Hz to 3kHz. Under 0.3% over most of that range. 96dB/W/m efficiency & 160W RMS power input. Impregnated cone & surround, suitable for outdoor use. Retail price of 207 Euros each. This pair is only US$180. Please contact me for postage. Cheers, Ralph |

Here's a review from K&T that shows the very smooth and extended response, as well as extremely low distortion.

Hi,
I am interested in buying 1120, however I am looking for alternative/equivalent, unfotunately I cannot read your spec for 2460, a few questions: 1. what are the main differences between the 2 drivers? 2. BTW why are you sellling them? I live in Melb., if they are suitable for my needs it would be easy for me to pick them up. I suspect they are cheaper than 1120. cheers. |

Hi tt,
Yes, much cheaper! The 1120 retails for US$190ea. Plus shipping and you'd be looking at around A$650 for the pair. Data sheet for the 2460 here: http://www.phlaudio.com/parameters/b20_2460.html I bought them as a set with some other drivers than I particulaly wanted. I don't have an immediate use for these drivers, so I figure someone else may have. I'll probably rue my decision as though I know how difficult and expensive they will be to re-aquire. Someone will be getting a bargain! Cheers, Ralph |
