I picked up a mint condition sansui sr 525 off an auction site a little while ago. It is just as clean as can be. Looks like it was in the original box for 30 years. The only blemish is a small cut on one of the edges.

It seemed to work fine when I unpacked it, but it has some sort of short? The platter just stopped spinning. While messing with the power switch and pitch controls I noticed that when I pressed down on the 45 rpm pitch control the platter would start spinning again.

I don't want to mess with it so I thought I would post it here where someone with some skills might want to get it going.

Pics will follow, but I need to borrow a better camera to show just how great the condition is (and the blemish). All original packaging.

If anyone is interested let me know and I'll get on it a little quicker.
