Default Monster hi efficiency sound system with an angelic voice

Hi there !

Sydney crew in search of great sound should check this out ;-)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/audio-nirvana/

The system is pumping out fantastic live Jazz @ Cameron Undie's aka Kidzen underground warehouse in central.

The sound is huge for such a compact system & a live jazz band sounds absolutely funktastic with the help of a 100dB efficient 18" woofer fed by 900W of juice - flat to 30Hz

Plenty of air, imaging & fine dexteirty from a seamlessly integrated 1.5" compression tweeter & a broad dispersion 10" paper cone woofer.

No horn sound whatsoever - this system is an absolute eye popper & many a hardcore jazz musoes are grinning from ear to ear as they've never heard a system with this much detail & sheer sensory pleasure.

Don't take my word for it, drop me a line & plug into some hard core underground jazz that's happening in Sydney twice a week.

Howdy Badman !

Sorry to have upset your sensitivity - I've been an IT & business Analyst, strategy etc - you know this sort of stuff can fry your brain a bit, as it certainly did for me - no, not the work, just the superinflated egos - just like guys peddling interconnects for $2k/m

I learned to solder by building a Playmaster 60 watt integrated amplifier @ the age of 16 - it worked for over 10 years & died after it was dropped & flooded in a flash flood.

I love building stuff & I am cooking a few electroacoustic projects, some original & some designed by others off the net....
but have found out the hard way, that apart from rolling your own cables & building electronic stuff, loudspeakers in particular are very difficult to do well DIY

even when you get all the good parts & do the modelling & construct things reaylly well & use the best unobtanium componets that money can buy
I know highly repsected commercial loudspeaker manufacturers who don't even know how to measure & model stuff properly ! & of course since you see me as a troll, I'm not expecting you to believe anything I say....

Just trying to engage mate - so chill out & don't panic ;-)

Multiple postings of your ad, with no prices, sets off an alarm bell, at best, it's rude. Typical etiquette is to 'bump' your post after a few days if there are no responses. No up-front price and waxing poetic about the stuff reeks of whitevan scammers.

All that said, if you're here for more than these and not just a bloke using the forum's space for a quick sale only, welcome, and we're happy to have ya.

And you're right, speakers are hard to get right, but boy are they satisfying when you do!

Yo Badman !

Respect & apologies in advance - didn't mean to break any rules/conventions/etiquette.... I'm simply the type who doesn't read the instruction manual

Indeed I am here to connect with other audio buffs - despite the fact that I posted a factory made system for sale. Some of the reasons Y I haven't mentioned the price are as follows :

A - my own HiFi infused prejudice ( up untill very recently ) would have led me to dismiss anything coined PA as symply not good enough - as in, lacking in transparency, accuracy, spatial imaging, uneven polar response etc etc

B - if I mention the price - most people ( including myself ) have a predefined perception of what a system can sound like costing $XYZ

C- If I was to say, in a number of psychoacousticly significant areas it sounds like a mega dollar system, no one would believe me

D- Sound quality is just so subjective - for example I never liked the sound of Focal inverted dome tweeters & measurements clearly show a pronounced resonance high-up ( that resonance point has been slowly pushed-up with materials offering a better Young's modulus over the years & now is possibly no longer a problem ) For that same reason ( & several others ) I never liked the sound of Wilson Watt speakers - which - I know - put's me @ odds with the establishement & a number of reviewers...... However I know of at least 1 highly regarded reviewer, who'm had the pleasure of meeting in his den inn London, who was of the same opinion & was actually running a pair of Puppies BUT with a completely different tweeter...... & yes it was none other then Martin Colloms. I was also never impressed with the sound of the massive Duntech speakers that are still very highly regarded by many - I clearly recall listening to a pair of monster Sovereigns & u literally had to have your head in a vice, as even a 5mm movement of your head would cause the soundstage to shift !! When I pointed this gross fault to the geeza in a high end shop, he insisted that in fact it was an attribute!!!

E- My own personal experience with stuff horn loaded - Lowther & some older JBL pro, Community, Turbo Sound, NEXO & French Triangle left with with sizzling & shrilled ears

So this is my dylema & it was an impulse buy for me, following a large business going under ( yes down under ;-) The system are finding very happy homes in the hands of professional musicians & I do have an ethical agenda to share them with professional musoes first - they work super hard & have been consistently ripped-off by the mp3 conspiracy & various DRM based major record company SCAMS

I simply want to share my experience with other audio nutters in Sydney who are not afraid to have their perceptions shattered ;-)
