I have a mint condition pair of Hammond 1628SEA transformers manufactured 12/6/06. Both have been amplifier tested at 250 volts/45ma and work great. Although sold as 5k/4,8,16 ohm transformers, you can also use them with tubes needing a 2.5k load by connecting your 8 ohm speaker across the 16 ohm tap, or a 4 ohm speaker across the 8 ohm tap. You can even put a 4 ohm speaker across the 16 ohm tap for tubes needing a 1.25k load! If prepaid with a money order I can ship via insured priority mail (you pay for that!) to a US address only. Shipping weight should be around 25#. With the devaluation of the USD, these have gotten very expensive, so here's a chance to get a pair at a fair price.
