This pair has felt dustcaps instead of plastic, similar to what Linn does with their speakers
No real impact on sound from the dustcaps. I may have the original plastic ones too, if that is important. These supposedly belonged to Nelson Pass and he liked the sound of 'em--not sure if this is true. These work great 1st order at 3K, which is really unusual for a rigid cone woofer (Think Reference 3A)--I have even run these wide up, with a tweeter and a 3uf cap--pretty good, actually. send me email through the forum or at: cambrasmax_at_gmail_dot_com |
