I have a new pair of Vifa M21WO-39-08 that I would like to trade for a pair of decent 6.5" or 7" drivers.
I mounted one in a box to hear it's sound and measure it. The other is still in it's cardboard packaging.
I have justMLS measurements of the one that was mounted. It is remarkably smooth up to 4-5kHz. I didn't measure T/S parameters of it because I can't get my pro sound card to work with the demo of Praxis (it's looking for Windows mixers, and my card just doesn't work that way).
Anyway, I would like to trade them straight up for a pair of 6.5" that work well in 10-15 liter vented box. Preferably some that cost about the same as my Vifas ($100.00/pair new).

I was trying to mate them with Neo8 (as a dipolar mid) and Vifa XT (from 5 kHz up) and found them a bit too different in character to match well.
I decided to proceed with adapting the existing box for Dynaudio 24W100 that I have on the shelf ( something I wanted to avoid by buying the Vifas).

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with their sound. I'm just looking for somewhat different flavor to blend with the Neo8 which sound a bit sterile compared to the Vifa M21. I think the Dynaudios will sound leaner in the low mids therefore matching the planar midrange better.

UK Huh?

Yeah, I would like to try the Seas . Seems like a decent trade.
Is the shipping cost going to be resonable? I'll find out what it will cost .....
Just checked UPS and FedEx sites. It would cost about $100.00 to ship the Vifas to you. Too salty for me. Sorry.
Unless you know of a way to swap the drivers at a reasonable price, can't do it.
