I've been using this as my main signal source for a while, but the stagnant Linux support has motivated me to finally make some progress in other directions.
This is a great card for use in an active PC-based xover system. 8 high-quality analog outputs, plus 2 spdif outputs (4 additional channels). It also has very high quality A/D converters - ideal for archiving vinyl. Also does a lot of pro-oriented stuff like ADAT and word clock in/out, although most folks won't have much use for that. The external dock housing the converters is separately powered, and can be powered via an external analog supply rather than the PC switcher with nice results. Just to be clear, this is the 'M' version, not the base 1820. The difference is higher grade converters. The unit is stock, and in good condition. It comes with all accessories (cables, clock sync daughtercard etc) and I think I have the original box and disk. I'm not sure on the 3rd party software bundle - I never really used it and am not sure whether I still have it. Asking $250. I didn't turn up much sales history for used units on these, so if you think this is out of line feel free to make an offer. Email me through the forum link with question and/or offers. |
