These are legendary speakers. There are seven-speakers in each six-way cabinet, from a 15" woof to two supertweets, and everything between--including one midrange horn. They are tri-wireable. The walnut cabs are in lovely, near perfect shape, as are the reversible grilles (Baroque-looking fancy on one side, plain black cloth on the other).
I've been driving them with all of 12 watts of SET, so no problems with efficiency, though I don't know what they're rated. You'll want to pick these up in the Silver Spring, MD area (outside Wash. DC). The cabs aren't terribly big, but they weigh I guess about 70 lbs each. Shipping would be prohibitive, probably. I've seen one other pair of these for sale over the years, and they went for $350 about 10 years ago. Asking $395, which seems fair, especially given their amazing condition. Write for more info and pix. Jeff 301 445-1243 |
