Bought these to have a play with changing the metal dome tweeters in my pmcs. They're about 6 months old. PMCs have since been sold so these are sitting here doing nothing. Might as well get used by someone. Really nice smooth sounding tweeter - lots of good posts regarding them out on the web. You can see from the photos the fixing holes have been extended everso slightly - these are 92mm spaced whereas the vifa ones were 94mm. Obviously doesn't affect their sound, but I can't class them as being in excellent condition because of this. I bought them from:
http://www.bmm-electronics.com/Produ...roduct_ID=3375 Datasheet: http://www.bmm-electronics.com/docum.../seas/H831.pdf They cost me roughly £60 delivered. I'm after half of that, so £30 inc uk P&P for the pair. Snaps: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hiya, no idea I'm afraid. Any idea what tweeters you have in the Kefs? We can compare datasheets then.

The origionals one's are KEF T 33 (R1191) but kef don't make them any more but I've read that there are several options including Seas. I'm going to do some researching today..thanks Johnny.

Would you sell one of these ?
Got a decent speaker in the corner but the tweeter is naf. I use it as a test speaker for testing amps. Well just a thought! |

Hi Fanuc. These are actually sold pending payment now. I'd prefer to keep them as a pair anyway.
Cheers Spev |
