I have some Genelex KT-88 and a couple of other tubes I would like to rigorously test/try to match (Gm and plate current, ultimatelly to sell), and my testers are not up to the job.
I don't want to ship the tubes to have them tested, so I am looking for someone reasonably close to Chadds Ford (SE PA near the DE border) who has a high-end tube tester that will test the tubes for me (or who alternatively will let me use the tester for a day). An Amplitrex would be ideal, but a Hickok 539B/C, Triplett 3444, Maximatcher or a lab grade tester would be nice as well. I would be willing to compensate the owner with a few tubes, a beer or two, a couple of dollars, or possibly something else of interest. Email baileyler@comcast.net. |
