I have a Squeezebox 3 for sale.
Info: Output caps upgraded to Blackgate Type N, bypassed by Sonicap Gen II. Power caps on analog replaced with Blackgate Type N Headphone port removed KE DAC put in place. Cardas RCA Jacks (have some compression marks on them) OPAMP removed This unit once got a little screwed up, so a very kind very good electronics guy did some work to renew it. Cosmetically it is not so pretty these days, it has a crack on one upper edge. It works fine though. It currently is running old firmware that gives it proper phase. The inside, well it could be modified by say Bolder for digital only if you wanted. The power side has gone untouched. In general I think how it is, is a good place to leave it, and it is great for the garage or a secondary room or something, or if you want to play around, but there is not much to do on the inside, it has hot glue protecting the repairs. The power supply for it that I have is a stock unit with a Belden shielded cable, switchcraft plug, and upgraded output caps with FC and FM. I am not sure how much difference the caps made. It currently only has wires that need an AC plug on them. The case was cut up some to allow the capacitors that I put in it. You can get an original for $5 from about anyone on the net with one, or get something better. The Linksys router is a WRT54G. One of the Antenna seems to of come up with a missing plastic piece. It however works fine for the Squeezebox. My only word of caution is that you can not leave blankets on these things are they will slow down and not work right. I had some moron roommates once. Total price $150 shipped. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
