Mint to me, means "As new" not "well-loved".

It's not the greatest picture, I cant tell if the description (mint) or insinuation (well loved) is correct. In either case, for a component of this sort, I don't really see cosmetic condition as being hugely important.

Hi:

I probably should have bit my tongue, but with so many misleading ad titles on craigslist and ebay "$1 altecs? YAY.. oh......." you hate to see misleading descriptors here. Usually these foil inductors are nice and shiny, with smooth insulating wrap. The pic shows crinkling and copper oxidation as well as a non-uniform top surface (indicating mounting wear on the edges of the insulation).

Does it matter? Probably not, but certainly isn't "mint".

Hence my protestation!
