Wanted: Thorens headshell TP50

All,

I'm looking after a headshell for a Thorens turntable TD-150MkII I picked up at a local garage sale (for about 10 US$). It has the TP13A tonearm (with the ball-shaped weights), but the headshell (& cartridge ...) is missing, as well as the small anti-skating weight.

Do I have to chase eBay & similar offerings or would there be any cloned or other headshell brands readily available? I understand that the geometry is important.

All,

Found 2 (two) headshells on eBay. Made a bid for both and... won both. Have a spare now, in case someone is interested.

Bonjour,

I just got a Thorens TD-135, but no headshell. The TP50 is getting quite rare. Would you still have the extra TP50 you mentioned a year ago -- and if you do, how much would you like for it?
