Default FS: big EI transformers

FS: big EI transformers

I have a pair of large EI transformers. I believe them to be 500va 115v secondary transformers. I.e. 1:1. They can be configured as balancing transformers which was what they were intended for when I got them.

They were acquired from Apex Jr. some while back. A friend of mine who got a lot of them said he noticed they were running pretty hot with minimal load and he wasn't sure why. Another friend of mine is using them in an amp and likes them. Thus these transformers are more for the experimenter who can figure out how to use them effectively and why I am offering them so cheap.

$30+shipping. They can be placed in a flat rate box to make shipping cost effective, therefore US sales only.

I have 2.
