please tell me what is that FX unit exactly. Looks like economy adc though, for a pcm75 cerdip category , you would be shocked at the price.

I've used HK Inventory before and my results have been variable to say the least.
Twice I got a demon deal and was 100% happy
Once the parts were bad knock offs
Once I got some chips which, to the best of my ability to determine, had either no silicon or incorrect dice in them.
50% is a bad batting average.
Other gripes -
They insist on either Western Union or telegraphic transfer
WU costs a premium and TT has about $30 handling fee to send and $30 to recieve.
They dont do Paypal or Credit Card.
They also dont like selling repair level quantities.
They quote insanely low prices just to get you on the hook then when they issue a proforma invoice, the unit price is way higher than the quoted price. When I've tried to pull them up on this they use the excuse of "demand" driving up the price.
Best avoided like rotting fish.

yeah i noticed thignss like that, on pcm78, datecodes look rather strange, given i bet its obsolete for several days. What I look for is that they dont have company webpage or x@company.cn specified , thats not cool i think. Western union is pretty suspicious and it isnt worth my time either.

So what is that yamaha unit ?
