This is an excellent player and an outstanding CD transport. Smooth and analog like sound yet very detailed.
It uses the top loading rugged Philips CD-PRO2 transport found in many top high end players, with a total of 6 independent power supplies using premium parts throughout.
It has a Tent labs XO3 clock with S/PDIF out.
The chassis is black, made from thick aluminum plates. It's super rigid.
$1000 o.b.o.

Is it a CDpro2, or CDpro2M?
Thanks
I believe it's a CD-PRO2M but I'm not 100% sure.
It has an AKM4384 DAC built in.
You can check my gallery at Audio Circle for some close up photos of the innards: http://www.audiocircle.com/gallery/index.php?cat=14202

I updated the content with more info:
This is an excellent player and an outstanding CD transport. Smooth and analog like sound yet very detailed.
I built this player in 2005 and had it playing on my system since then. I used it mostly as a transport feeding a variety of DACs.
It uses the top loading rugged Philips CD-PRO2M transport found in many top high end players, with a total of 6 independent power supplies using premium parts throughout.
It has a Tent labs XO3 clock. This clock replaces the CD-PRO2M clock and also adds low jitter S/PDIF output (RCA or BNC).
The chassis is black, made from thick aluminum plates. It's super rigid.
Dimensions are: 16.5" wide, 15.25" deep, and 4" high.

PS: this unit doesn't have balanced analog outputs. Only the analog RCA plugs are operational.
