Default Wanted: 5 micron aluminum foil

I'm looking for some five micron foil. Anyone got some they'll sell cheap?

Ya..it's a drag sourcing thin foils in small quantities. I found that film/foil caps was my best source. I haven't found any 5 micron yet, but for some good foil a little over 6 micron try these..

as a bonus you'll have some mil specs caps. These are the caps I harvested that are in my ribbon now.

Aren't old caps often full of nasty chemicals and PCBs?

these arent lytics, polypropylene or PE. Dont look old either.

Those are THE caps I harvested my foil from. They are a mil spec polypropylene film/foil cap. Cut the ends off about 3/16" in, slice off the jacket, and unroll 2 foil strips about 20' long.

They also happen to be the caps I bult my active x-over with...very nice, kinda a shame to cut them up, but a fella's gotta do what a fella's gotta do .
