Marantz AV9000 pre/pro for sale. Needs work.

Help me clean out my closet.

Selling "broken" Marantz AV9000 pre/pro. One day, this component simply would not turn on. A little exploration revealed that a few of the hardwired fuses on the transformer board were bad. Replaced the fuses (see bottom for Mouser.com part numbers) only to discover that they would blow again (of course). Did a little research on the internet and discovered that the AV9000 is known for dying capacitors in the power supply. Bypassed the fuses for kicks and discovered that the unit functions. So the unit is functioning, but I wouldn't trust it in my rack with the fuses bypassed. Suggest replacing all the capacitors on the power supply board and the hardwired fuses on the transformer board. It is a nice piece, but needs some work. Originally purchase new from authorized dealer. Paid over $1300 for it several years ago.

Includes IR learning remote and original box. Faceplate is in very good to excellent condition.
