A pair of Sowter 8347C I/V transformers. These are the PC mount type, not the ones with flying leads. Less stranded wire in the signal path; and still easy to solder to if not PC mounted.

Similar sonics to the older peerless iron. Eliminates ground loops, solves ground return issues. No filters or power supplies required of course. Lowish voltage out, not a problem if feeding a preamp. Surprisingly good bottom end, not what might be expected from iron I/V.
