Hmmm. Whether this is the correct forum for this post (or not), the link given only points to a Parts Express Forum. The other 2 links on the first post to that site are to a diy event http://www.lonesaguaro.com/speakers/AZdiy08/DIY08-Gear.html, and to Mark Daniels of America at http://www.markdanielofamerica.com/Technology/).

I believe that this shows that this is definitely a marketting ploy. Currently there is no technical information that I could find (on any site listed) about this new AMT. Only completed speakers are available.

Jason, while I'm all for someone to be producing new (improved?) AMT drivers, I think you may be over-stepping the advertising rule here. But I'll leave that to the moderators. When you've actually got the drivers available by themselves, I may be interested - but, for me, I would consider your post to be directed advertising.

Moderators, if you think this should stay, feel free to delete all but the first paragraph (which contains the links) of this post. The availability of these drivers is a good thing (IMO) but I'm not sure if this is how to go about advertising it.

Ok heres the deal

I am trying to provide you guys with the knowledge of a new driver that will be available for the DIY market soon.

A. I am the only Dealer in the US for these drivers so maybe there is a little advertising going on but not much I'm just about sharing the passion.

B. there is plenty of info on the drivers so you must not have looked very hard http://www.mark-daniel.com/Dir_En.asp?Proid=11

C. How does the link of my diy event that I hosted make this post marketing ? I'm lost

D. I am getting a pair of these drivers to John K to run all the tests he can on these drivers and publish his results.
you may recognize his site here

If you don't have a product, what you're announcing is known in IT circles as "vapourware".

I don't see a point in giving this thread further oxygen until the thing ships.

cheers
