I need to sell some stuff due to an error paying via bank rather than credit card on PayPal!
I'm going through some stuff & deciding how badly I want it (what I'll let it go for or keep it if that isn't realistic, because I wanted it in the first place!)
I mention where some of these books lived previously just because it's kind of fun (for me, anyway, knowing the place of the various companies in electronics history).
Vacuum-Tube Circuits and Transistors, by Lawrence Baker Arguimbau, McIntosh Laboratories, with Transistor contributions by Richard Brooks Adler, MIT, Wiley, 1956, 646 pgs, cloth/hardbound, good condition, some wear, writing, stickers & rubber stamps (library info, 'removed from Sandia Laboratories Library Collection', etc). $45 + actual postage. http://uptown-gallery.com/murray/DIYAudio/Books/Argimbau.jpg
Valley & Wallman, Vacuum Tube Amplifiers, MIT Radiation Laboratories Series Volume 18, 1948, 743 pgs, burgundy cloth/hardbound, somewhat better condition, looks like only the inner back cover has writing and a stamp (Allen D. Cardwell Mfg, Stamford Division - hey, was that Cardwell Condenser?) $45 + actual postage

or $75 plus postage for the above two books together
Paperback Tektronix Circuit Concepts Series $20 for the 3 books + actual postage. Retired from Heathkit Engineering library.
Vertical Amplifier Circuits, 1969,461 pgs, fair-good condition

Sweep Generator Circuits, 1969, 103 pgs, good condition

Oscilloscope Trigger Circuits, 1969, 87 pages, good condition

These cover both tube and solid state circuits. I associate them with tubes/valves because I was supposed to barter them back in the 80's or 90's to someone who designed tube amps & wrote some books, "Cable Cookbook" and maybe a preamp cookbook and a pending amplifier cookbook...this is taxing my memory...Alan, from Australia, living in Germany, could it have been Vacuum State Electronics? Anyway, they got lost in my basement until now.
The prices are based on a combination of antique book store prices, finding my own credit card receipt in one and being shocked at what I paid for it, and the fact that they still have some value & interest to me...so I'll put' em back in my disorganized 'library' if no one agrees on my perception of their value.
PayPal please, for the purpose of concluding the transaction in a timely manner - I need to raise some funds, and other methods are subject to the vagaries of memory and snail mail.
Thanks
Murray
