Morel 8in Woofer (MW265) and Top Mount Tweeter (MDT41)

Hello All,

I am currently selling a some drivers I bought a few years back but never got a chance to use. To be specific they are a pair of Morel MW265 8 ichn woofers (pdf specs: http://www.mmgando.com/MW_265.pdf) and a pair of Morel MDT-41 1 inch top mount tweeters (http://www.mmgando.com/MDT_41.pdf).

As I said these are as new since I was unfortunately never able to build them into a pair of speakers.

If you bought them new from Madisound they would cost you $116 for each MW265 and $72 for each MDT41. I am asking $160 for the pair of woofers and $100 for pair the tweeters. Or, depending on interest B/O. Also, if they don't sell relatively quickly I am going to post them on ebay with no reserve.

Could you post / link to some DIY project using this drives ?

Are this items not too heavy to send to France ?

If you visit http://www.lautsprechershop.de/hifi/bau_it_en.htm you can find a kit called the Pirol C which uses a MW 265 and a MDT 32. I however, wanted a top mount tweeter so went with the MDT 41 as it has similar specs and was recommended at http://ldsg.snippets.org/sect-7-tweets.php

Also at http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr...&openfrom&13&4 there is a posting that mentions using the MW265 (second to last comment) with a "Tweeter recommendation close to MDT33".

As for shipping to France. A box including everything should weigh in at about 3.5kg so shipping would not bee too excessive. Accoridng to the US Postal Service it should be $40-50.
