Default WTB Gainclone

Just wondering if anyone has a partially / totally completed gainclone kicking around the house. ( someone must ) I want to do a quick comparison w/charlize, more out of curiosity then anything else. The unit doesn't have to be anything special. If you interested just send me a mail with some prices

Thanks

Dave

I have an AudioSector "Deluxe" kit, assembled, with a 360VA toroidial transformer. It's not actually assembled in a box, though.

E-mail me if interested.

I have a gain clone you can buy.

Does it matter if it looks like garbage?

Here is a pic of the inside http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...mp=1087067156&

You can probably use your imagination to figure out what the outside looks like

How much are you looking to get? And just curious why are you guys willing to sell them? Did they not live up to your expectations? What did you replace them with?

I don't know, it has a lot of sentimental value

I don't think I can tell the different between the sound produced by different amps. Well, I might be able to tell some difference, but I'm not sure if I prefer one over another.

I will replace it with another amp

I don't want to ask. I am waiting for an offer, I suppose. I'm not sure what to ask for this type of quality craftsmanship

I don't know how many VA the transformer is rated at, but it puts out a little more than 18 VDC on the secondaries.
