Default Wanted: SAA7220P/B

Hi all,

I've recently got my DAC going with an SAA7220P/A, and I'm really quite pleased with it. Now I'm interested in comparing the sound with the SAA7220P/B.
I'm sure there are a few out there who've bypassed this chip in some old Philips/Marantz player and gone NOS.
I'm willing to pay up to about £10, but would like to include postage in that too if possible(I got my 7220P/A from a £6 CD player off of Ebay). Obviously, if not in the UK, then that can be negotiated.

I think the best/easiest way for me to pay is with Paypal, but can send a cheque if needed.

Anyway, let me know if you're willing to part with your /B
It would be going to a good home

Cheers,
Phil

Hi Fin,

Thanks for the link.
Alas, I mailed him a couple of days ago, and I haven't heard anything back.
Anyone else out there?

Cheers,
Phil

That's interesting. That's the same email address I used.
I was just asking about paying and postage, no actual order as such.
Maybe that's why he's slow with the response.
I shall wait a bit longer.

Cheers,
Phil

I take it all back.
It appears that emails have been getting lost in the ether.
I have been in contact, and have made an order.
Cheers,
Phil
